Tecnifutbol has set out the club’s project for the 2018-2019 season. With this project the aim is to expand the brand and to keep promoting football from the grassroot. With this philosophy, players will be trained in values using a sports education where the work will be performed from respect, but always keeping the essence of football: competitiveness from a healthy perspective. Tecnifutbol’s Sporting Director, Arnal Llibert, has highlighted from the project that “we not only want better kids, we want coaches to come with excitement and the willingness to train Tecnifutbol and Reddis’ kids”. In addition, he has added that: “we want the kids who stay to be highly involved. We must protect and educate them and provide with the necessary tools to motivate them while they have fun and learn. To improve and that the extra motivation helps them to grow achieving a high qualitative level”.
To do so, it will still be used the very own methodology Smartfootball, where the brain plays a leading role in the football’s approach. In addition, equality in football will continue to be espoused, being one of the teams with more women’s football teams. All in all, with specific services and specialists in different areas to make the learning more effective. This project counts on an internationalization that makes the opportunities grow. Additionally, it is transversal and provincial, it is committed to the territory and promotes sports tourism. As Albert Viñas, Tecnifutbol’s General Manager and Complex Esportiu Futbol Salou’s Sporting Director has stated, “this is an ambitious project and internationalization provides us a distinctive feature compared to other projects and clubs from the territory”.
Thus, next season, Unió Esportiva Pallaresos and Escola de Futbol Tarragona CUSA will perform under the name CE Tecnifutbol Tarragona, brand with which they will share the logo as well. On the other hand, the collaboration with Club Reddis from Reus will continue. From the Reus townhall, the sports’ city councillor Jordi Cervera, has highlighted that “to us, the collaboration is essential. It is the territory’s real engine and what creates opportunities”.
This way, CE Tecnifutbol Salou will include 14 male and female grassroot football teams, CE Tecnifutbol Tarragona with 21 male grassroot football teams, and CF Reddis with one amateur team and women’s teams. Tecnifutbol also partners with different clubs and schools like Escola Internacional del Camp, escola Elisabeth, Ebre escola and CF Batea; these last two from the Terres de l’Ebre.
Tecnifutbol, born at Complex Esportiu Futbol Salou, will continue counting on the sports facilities which are continuously being updated. It has started 2018 with the opening of two turf football pitches and a multipurpose rugby and football turf pitch, and the renewal of the bar. The 2019 star is expected to be the opening of a natural grass mini-stadium with capacity of thousand people, which will host professional teams and national teams as well as big events. In addition, a seven-a side training pitch, a beach football pitch and a goal keeper area.
